Prerequisites
Thinking about an MBA but don’t have a business background? That’s perfectly okay!
The MBA program is designed to welcome students from all academic and professional backgrounds. To ensure you're prepared for success, certain foundation-level knowledge is required before taking core courses. You may satisfy these either by:
- Having already completed the required undergraduate courses with a grade of C or higher, or
- Completing the relevant MBA Math modules:
Course prerequisites:
- MBA 502 – Requires ACC 211 (Principles of Accounting or equivalent)
- MBA 503 – Requires ECO 215 (Microeconomics)
- MBA 506 – Requires FIN 315 (Business Finance)
If you haven’t taken previous coursework in subjects like accounting, economics, or finance, you can meet these requirements by completing online modules through MBA Math, a flexible, self-paced platform that allows you to build the skills you need on your own schedule.
An MBA Math module typically takes 10–20 hours to complete and costs $169 for one year of access to all modules.
MBA Tuition and Fees
Students enrolled in the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program are responsible for both tuition and program-specific fees. Since this is a fully online program, there is no out-of-state tuition—all students pay the same rate regardless of residency.
- Tuition: $505 per credit hour
- Program Fee: $100 per credit hour (in addition to tuition)
For students completing the full MBA program (30 credit hours), the estimated tuition cost is $18,150 (not including University fees).
Please note that your overall cost may vary depending on the number of credit hours taken and any applicable University fees. For detailed tuition rates, visit the Tuition and Fee Schedule page.
