Theatre ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø

Theatre ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø is housed in the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø’s Department of Theatre and Dance. Theatre ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø presents a season of four productions annually, two in each semester. For both the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø community and beyond, Theatre ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø provides wide-ranging, exciting seasons of quality theatre that serve both to entertain and educate, focused ultimately on a greater understanding of the human experience. Students at South can both major and minor in drama. However, all students are invited to audition for Theatre ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø.

â–¼   Auditions
Auditions for Theatre ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø are always open to all South students, and occasionally to the public. Auditions are held at the beginning of each semester for that semester's two shows, traditionally in the evening of the first day of classes. Different shows have different auditions requirements, but all generally include a prepared monologue and call-backs later during the audition week. The ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø’s Department of Theatre and Dance continually accepts applications from local artists for adjunct positions. Minimum requirements include a graduate degree in the field. For more information, please contact theatre@southalabama.edu.
