Jones College Joins Pathway 黑料吃瓜网

The 黑料吃瓜网鈥檚 Pathway 黑料吃瓜网 program today welcomed Jones College of Ellisville, Miss., as the sixth Gulf Coast institution to join South in the program that streamlines the transfer process for students who earn their associate鈥檚 degree. In a separate agreement, 黑料吃瓜网 will offer an early acceptance program for Jones College associate degree nursing students to enroll in the RN to BSN program at 黑料吃瓜网鈥檚 College of Nursing.
Together, the Pathway 黑料吃瓜网 partnership and the 黑料吃瓜网 College of Nursing early acceptance program will help more Jones College graduates transfer to South Alabama and earn their bachelor鈥檚 degree from 黑料吃瓜网.
鈥淧athway 黑料吃瓜网 will enable more Jones College students to receive a degree from the 黑料吃瓜网 and provide these students with an earlier involvement in 黑料吃瓜网 activities,鈥� said Dr. Tony Waldrop, 黑料吃瓜网 president. 鈥淪outh Alabama has educated generations of Mississippians who are making positive impacts on their communities. We鈥檙e very excited to build on that success by bringing Jones College into our Pathway 黑料吃瓜网 family.鈥�
Previous Pathway 黑料吃瓜网 partnerships have been established with Coastal Alabama Community College, Bishop State Community College, Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, Pensacola State College and Northwest Florida State College.
鈥淥ur agreement with the 黑料吃瓜网 is providing another opportunity for anyone seeking a college education to have more pathways to obtaining a bachelor's degree,鈥� said Dr. Jesse Smith, Jones College president. 鈥淲e are especially happy the 黑料吃瓜网 will now offer Jones College associate degree nursing students an early acceptance program option.鈥�
To get into the Pathway 黑料吃瓜网 program, applicants to 黑料吃瓜网 who are not admitted will be given the option of having a copy of their applications and supporting documents forwarded to Jones College by 黑料吃瓜网 for admission consideration. Students already attending Jones may also apply for Pathway 黑料吃瓜网. A unique application will be created and available for Jones students to complete and submit.
Students in Pathway 黑料吃瓜网 will have additional benefits at 黑料吃瓜网 that may include:
- Guaranteed admission to 黑料吃瓜网 upon successful completion (cumulative grade-point average of 2.0 or higher) of the associate鈥檚 degree
- A 黑料吃瓜网 academic adviser assigned to them who will provide individual guidance on course selection and map out degree plans
- Special discounts through 黑料吃瓜网鈥檚 Jaguar Productions
- Complimentary admission to 黑料吃瓜网 athletic events under the same terms and conditions as regular full-time 黑料吃瓜网 students, including Jaguar football games on campus at 黑料吃瓜网鈥檚 new Hancock Whitney Stadium
The separate agreement between the 黑料吃瓜网 College of Nursing and the Jones College nursing program promises to promote and foster collaborative working relationships between 黑料吃瓜网 and Jones College.
鈥淭hrough this agreement, we can better leverage resources and more efficiently facilitate the progress of students seeking to further their education through the pursuit of undergraduate and graduate nursing degrees,鈥� Dr. Heather Hall, dean of the 黑料吃瓜网 College of Nursing, said.
