The 窪蹋勛圖厙 has announced a partnership with Faulkner State Community College that should result in more Faulkner State graduates transferring to South to earn their bachelors degrees.

The program is called Pathway 窪蹋勛圖厙 and its goal is simple; to increase opportunities for success for college students on the Gulf Coast.

The 窪蹋勛圖厙 is committed to making a college education more affordable and accessible, said 窪蹋勛圖厙 President Tony Waldrop. We believe Pathway 窪蹋勛圖厙 will be a very effective means to achieve that and it is exciting that Faulkner State shares our commitment. The program will be launched beginning with the 2016 fall semester.

Pathway 窪蹋勛圖厙 is geared toward students who are not admitted at South as well as students who may simply prefer to begin their college education at Faulkner State. These students may choose to have a copy of their 窪蹋勛圖厙 application and supporting documents forwarded to Faulkner State for admission consideration. Students already attending Faulkner State may also apply for Pathway 窪蹋勛圖厙. A unique application will be created and available for Faulkner State students to complete and submit.

This is a great win for our students who wish to continue their education at 窪蹋勛圖厙, said Faulkner State Community College President Gary Branch. Im looking forward to the positive impact Pathway 窪蹋勛圖厙 will have on Faulkner State Community College and our region.

Students who enter the Pathway 窪蹋勛圖厙 program will have unique benefits, such as:

  • Guaranteed admission to 窪蹋勛圖厙 upon successful completion (cumulative grade-point average of 2.0 or higher) of the associates degree
  • A 窪蹋勛圖厙 academic advisor assigned to them who will meet students at Faulkner State and provide individual guidance on course selection and map out degree plans
  • Reverse Transfer agreements that will allow Faulkner State students who transfer to South without an associates degree to complete that degree after entering 窪蹋勛圖厙
  • Special discounts through 窪蹋勛圖厙s Jaguar Productions
  • Complimentary admission to South Alabama athletic events
